MATISA enables you to have a number of guidance systems in your machines. Depending on the type of site, the available facilities and the work processes of the infrastructures who maintain the rail network, you can choose different methods: relative, absolute, reconstituted absolute or strict absolute base.
(Computer Aided Track Treatment) combines maximum reliability, flexibility, user-friendliness and automation to help the operator to respond effectively and optimally to all types of work and possible geometries depending on different markets.
Its modular architecture enables it to meet the various wishes and requirements of the railways or the final users. Its touch-screen interface is very user-friendly, and it also adapts to IT developments, giving excellent results with or without an additional system.
The smartness or Precision and work quality of MATISA tamping machines can be significantly improved by combining the CATT guidance computer with other intelligent systems such as PALAS, MATS or MIRIS.
The reliability, flexibility, accuracy and automation of the NEMO measuring base ensure a very good relative measurement of the track geometry.
NEMO integrates into the new digital architecture and supplies the geometry data to the control system and to the CATT guidance computer. The latter uses them in combination with the setpoints to apply dependent on the requirements of the work site.
The new generation of NEMO has LED lights with an accurate, high tech optical sensor. NEMO makes it possible to achieve the best measurement results in all working site conditions, but also to improve even further the accuracy and quality of the work.
With the combination of existing algorithms and those we design, this solution allows the CATT to improve the track significantly, simply and with low costs for a railway infrastructure after the work.
Based on a preceding recording and on information about the track position, MIRIS (MATISA Intelligent Railtrack Improvement System) allows a correction of the track defects and reconstitution of its position without an absolute measurement. The corrections are controlled in a third pass of the machine or a simultaneous recording from a trailer.
MATS (MATISA Total Station) allows the measurement of the track and guidance of the machine by section. The work can be done in two different modes:
The PALAS system is the unique completely automated strict absolute measurement base system.
It allows accurate repositioning and maintenance with very high accuracy, in 3 dimensions, of tracks as originally defined by the surveyors. Measuring the track, guidance and stabilisation by tamping are provided absolutely in a single working pass of the machine.
Thanks to the automation of measurement and the guiding of the machine, PALAS gives significant help in the full process of railway track maintenance.
The system for data transmission and location from MATISA enables you to manage, monitor and control the whole of your machine park efficiently in matters of work data, maintenance data, data analysis and management of the vehicle fleet. You will obtain higher availability, shorter repair times, rapid support from MATISA and, increased lifetime of your machines in addition of higher safety. Your costs will also be reduced, thanks to improved management of the equipment.
The MEDAL system (MATISA Event and DAta Logger) provides saving of all events, generated work data and the data about mouvements.
This equipment can be used in various situations, such as: validation of condition and repair of your machines, maintenance planning and then recording of the results of the work of your machine..
